Shanicia N. Young

SHANICIA N. YOUNG is a North Carolina licensed attorney. She is a proud graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude with a juris doctor degree. While in law school, she was the executive editor of the North Carolina Central Law Review, secretary of the American Constitution Society, and held leadership positions in two non-profit organizations. Ms. Young is an Associate Attorney at the firm and practices primarily in real estate, estate planning, probate administration, and small business start-ups. Ms. Young obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Campbell University.

When Ms. Young is not busy serving clients, she enjoys spending time with family and working to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal and local community. As a first-generation college graduate, Ms. Young is dedicated to providing opportunities for small-town youth. Ms. Young is a member of the New Bethel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ in Roper, North Carolina.
