Born and raised in Lenoir County, Heather has dedicated her career to helping the people of Eastern North Carolina. After obtaining a degree in dental hygiene from Wayne Community College in 2009, she spent three years practicing as a dental hygienist in private practice followed by ten years as a dental hygienist with ECU School of Dental Medicine. Wanting to expand her ability to help more of those in her community, she furthered her education by obtaining a B.S. in Public Health Education from UNC Greensboro in 2018, an Academic Affiliate Fellowship from the American Academy of Oral Medicine in 2019, and her ultimate goal - a J.D. from Campbell University School of Law in May 2023. 

Heather's practice interests include estate planning, personal injury, and dental malpractice—areas where her background in both healthcare and law allow her to serve clients with clarity, compassion, and skill.

When she's not serving clients, Heather loves spending time with her children, who keep her on her toes, going to the beach, broadway shows, and most, if not all, things “nerdy.” She currently serves on multiple committees for the AAOM is a proud advocate for Type 1 Diabetes awareness.
